Step 1: Create an Anthropic API Key
Sign In to Anthropic's Developer PortalVisit the Anthropic API portal at https://console.anthropic.com/ and sign in to your Anthropic account. If you don't have an account, you'll need to create one.
Generate a New API Key
Navigate to the "API Keys" section in your dashboard.
Click on "Create API Key".
Copy the API Key: Make sure to copy the API key now, as you may not be able to view it again later.
Step 2: Add the API Key to WatchWolf
Open Models ManagementIn the WatchWolf app, navigate to Manage > Models.
Add a New Model
Click on the "+" icon at the top of the screen to add a new model.
Enter API Key and Select Model
API Key: Paste the Anthropic API key you copied earlier into the API Key field.
Select Model: Choose the Anthropic model you want to use from the dropdown menu (e.g., Claude Sonnet, Claude Haiku).
Step 3: Set the Model as Default
Enable Default Option
Toggle the "Default" option to set this model as the default for AI features within WatchWolf.
Save the Model Configuration
Click on "Save" or "Add" to confirm and save your new model settings.
Note: Only the model set as Default will be used for AI features like terminal command generation, snippets generation, and metrics analysis. Make sure to enable the Default option for the model you wish to use for these functionalities.
Additional Tips
Manage Multiple Models: You can add multiple Anthropic models to WatchWolf, but remember that only the model marked as Default will be used for the AI features mentioned.
API Key Security: Keep your API key confidential. Do not share it or expose it in unsecured environments.
Monitor Usage: Be mindful of your Anthropic API usage limits to prevent service interruptions.
